Recruitment Pavilion
Long Beach Convention & Entertainment Center

The Recruitment Pavilion is a service for conference attendees provided by CLA to job applicants and employers at the annual conference. The Pavilion is coordinated by the Management Services Section and staffed by CLA volunteers. The service is an opportunity for job applicants to list resumes and for employers to post positions available and conduct on-site interviews.
Resumés and Job Listings
The deadline to submit job listings and resumés in advance has ended. However, you may still submit your information on site at the Recruitment Pavilion, located in the Exhibit Hall of the Long Beach Convention & Entertainment Center. If possible, bring 3 copies each of your submissions.

Employer Opportunities
Employers may participate in the Recruitment Pavilion by listing jobs without a fee or by purchasing display tables for $475 for an on-site presence. The tables will be located in the Recruitment Pavilion, a prominent location in the core of the meeting space of the Long Beach Convention & Entertainment Center. On-site interviewing space is available on a first-come, first-serve basis for those who purchase tables. Tables include a listing in the final program. All table reservations must be paid in full prior to the conference. Space is limited, so it is recommended that you reserve your table or tables as soon as possible.
Applicant Opportunities
Prospective job applicants should complete the applicant form and submit with their resumé. Applicants may also submit their resumés on site at the Recruitment Pavilion. Some employers will be interviewing on site. Submitting a resumé does not guarantee an interview. The Recruitment Pavilion is in the Exhibit Hall. If you are not registered for the conference, you can purchase an Exhibit Hall pass at the convention center.
Resumé Evaluation Service
Whether you are looking for a new opportunity now or may some time in the future, here's a great opportunity to give your resume a tune-up. Experienced library hiring managers will be available for 30-minute appointments to discuss your resume and how it can be improved to catch the eye of prospective employers. Drop by the Recruitment Pavilion at the conference to make an appointment.
